He mentioned that Queens does not get as much attention because it is always in the shadow of Manhattan. Nick talks about the former home of Jackie Robinson in St. Albans which was saved and became a city landmark. Other “historical” places that he talks about are the Queens Museum of Art, Ridgewood Movie Theatre and Woodhaven Lanes Bowling Alley, the location of the tv series “Jackpot Bowling.”
