Description: Tammara recollects of the time she was sexually assaulted at the age of sixteen. Tammara thinks the reason was solely because she was a female MC. She didn’t have anyone to talk to. Tammara talked to guidance counsellor who talked to her foster mother and suggested that she contacts the police and take Tammara to the hospital. However, Tammara’s foster mother blamed everything on Tammara and said that it was all Tammara’s fault for getting raped. After seven months, Tammara found out that she contracted an STD. As a MC, Tammara didn’t want this news to spread, but however her foster sister went around and told everyone. This event left Tammara at an extremely dark place. “I was out on my own.”
