Description: Burroughs Family Cemetery - north side of Alstyne Ave. east of 94th St. close up view along the line of headstones. There were 16 stones ranging from 1793 to 1812 and one stone dated 1871. The city sold the cemetery in 1954 and then withdrew the sale. By the 1980's no stones stood and the cemetery was a weed strewn lot between a filling station and auto body repair shop.
