Description: Claremont Terrace - North end of Clermont Terrace east of Broadway & south of the railroad. These are the 2nd and 3rd mansions from the tracks. Note the for sale sign "All Or Part of this Frontage," during the Winter of 1924-25 Stores were built in front of the four mansions. Samuel Lord of the firm Lord & Taylor built these houses in 1850.
