Description: George I. Rapelye House - SW corner of Way Ave. (102nd St.), old no. 60 Corona Ave. White, shingled house. Lydia Burroughs, daughter of Thomas Burroughs, married George I. Rapelye (B. 1787 Nova Scotia) in 1814. George's Father, a Loyalist, returned to Newtown around 1792 and died on this farm in 1829. It was the New Cottage Inn in 1935.
