Description: Vietor House - aka Woodward House. Close up of 18th Century north wing at the NE corner of Broadway & Elmhurst Ave. (Old Flushing Ave.) The land was in the Woodward Family since 1666; the original house (17th Century) was some distance north of the house in the Photograph and was torn down around 1880. Theodore Vietor lived there in 1860, then his son Henry O. Vietor (d. 1923) [H. Vietor].
