Description: William G. Kouwenhoven House - North side Old Mill Rd. (63rd Rd.), between 98th St. and 99th St. (it became 98-23 63rd Road). Kouwenhoven Married Alletta Remsen of Hempstead Swamp and maps of 1852, 1860, 1873 identify this as his home, Herman Mueller owned it in the 1890's. In 1923 Herman Werner, Mueller's Son-In-Law, lived here. Photo taken April 1923.
