Description: Metzger's Hotel - The Former Metzger's Hotel, on the south side of Metropolitan Ave. west of the elevated terminal (about old No. 1770 Met. Ave.). At the far left of the image is "Henry Arzberger Florist", the old hotel building has a sign in front "John Sonnenkalb Florist". Past the very small building under the shed of old No. 1770 Metropolitan Avenue is the Empire Hotel Buildings (Grafelmann) at 1768 and 1766 Metropolitan Avenue all the way on the right. Currently the site is home to "Rentar Plaza", a mall.
