Description: Shocks Modern Homes - Old Debevoise House - (aka Charles Stehling House) the old house in its second site at the NE corner Metropolitan Ave. and 71st Ave. (Continental Ave.) Far right is the "New" Debevoise House, On the NE corner Metropolitan Ave. and 72 Ave., which was the original site of the old house at left, which was moved around 1890 when the new house was built. Behind both Debevoise houses. New houses are being erected on Nansen St. The sign in front of the old house is for "Shocks Modern Homes, $6,850". The older smaller house was torn down in 1924. Photo taken in March 31, 1924.
