Description: John Everett Van Nostrand House - View NE along Moffat St. from a point just north of Knickerbocker Ave. In center far background is the large John E. Van Nostrand house at the corner of Cooper Ave. and Wyckoff Ave.; it was demolished in 1927 for the construction of the BMT Canarsie Line. This was all Queens County until the county line adjustment in 1920's transferred it to Brooklyn, Kings Co.
