Description: St. James Episcopal Church - 86-02 Broadway, Elmhurst; when the building was erected 1735 it was known as “Church of England in America, Mission Church at Newtown.”, it is the oldest surviving Anglican building in NYC (still standing 2018). The building was later significantly remodeled in 1883. June 7, 1927
