Description: Windmuller House - View looking north along the path at 50th Street, leading from the road to the Old Windmuller House, which was on the site of what is now Windmuller Park. Louis Windmuller immigrated to the United States from Germany at the age of 18. He began working in the banking industry and soon became successful. Later in life Windmuller devoted his energies to civic service and became prominent in NYC society, he died in 1913.
