Description: Orestes Gonzalez was born in Cuba and migrated to the US in 1961. He predominantly lived in Miami, Texas and New York. An architect, he started buying up properties in Long Island City in 1991 and would fix them up. He loves the diversity of Queens and believes it’s something to cherish. Is active in the LIC arts community and part of the Court Square Civic Association.
