Description: Natalie Milbrodt, was born in 1977, in Southern Indiana. The family moved to Detroit, Michigan, where they resided in for a brief period of time. Her parents separated in 1979, so she and her mother moved back to Southern Indiana. She was an only child, but she gained a lot of siblings through both of her parent’s second marriage. After her mother’s second marrage, the family moved back to Detroit, Michigan. She worked in film production for some years in Detroit, Michigan. Unfortunately, the organization she worked for went bankrupt, after several years. Therefore, after being unemployed for 6 months and losing the house, she was renting from one of her friend; Natalie decided that a change in career and atmosphere was necessary. In November 2005, she and her friend Juliana moved to the Big Apple together; after searching for the right place to live, they decided to move into Astoria, Queens. Their neighborhood consisted of a lot of senior adults, who treated Natalie and Juliana like their own kids. she graduated from the School Of Library in 2001 and has spent a couple of years working part time in Queens Public Library and Queens College. In October 2012, she was hired full time in Queens Public Library. Currently, she manages the metadata division of the library. Occasionally, she visits Michigan during summer and big holidays, to see her family. However, she is satisfied with her life in New York City and does not foresee moving to another state in the near future.
