Description: C. Heiser House - Located on the north side of Borden Avenue (aka Newtown Ave., now under Queens Midtown Expressway), in the present roadbed of 46th Street. It was owned by Smith 1852, then Heiser 1857 - 1860, C. Heiser Heirs 1873 (C. Wallace 1873 occupied), Mrs. Heiser owned in 1891. This was the older Heiser house and was remodeled in 1923, located west of the newer house; photograph taken March 1923.
