Description: Judge William Burcham House - View of the west gabled end of the house with the Borden Avenue Line (aka the Lutheran Line) Trolley tracks in the foreground; the house was located on the NE corner of Grand Avenue and 68th Street (was Fisk Avenue). It was occupied by Burcham in 1873 (whom was also a rope maker), John Doyle lived here ca. 1890 - 1925, and William Meegan (Meehan) bought it in 1925. The house was opposite the Brooklyn City Rail Road Trolley (BCRR) depot, which was on the site of the “old Firth House”. The Burcham house taken down in June 1925, the site is now covered by the Long Island Expressway and service road.
