Said to be the location of the first Post Office within the Town of Flushing.; hand written on back of print: old store at WC Buhrman's Mill property erected 1828 It is said that the first post office in the town was located in this store When Broadway was constructed traffic was diverted to the new road + the post office was transferred to Flushing village Flushing 1922
