Boerum in 1873.; hand written on back of print: Borem House south west corner Justice Street (Court Street) + Laconia Avenue (Horsebrook Road) Elmhurst RB Borem 1873 + 1891 was probably the house of William Vallence who built a bark mill in 1721 grist west of the house on the pond (Horsebrook) Rebuilt son James Borem subsequent gone Newtown Jany 1923
