Patrick J. Gleason Scrapbooks

Details

CreatorGleason, Patrick J. (Patrick Jerome), 1844-1901DescriptionThis very small collection consists of three scrapbooks of newspaper clippings. However, the volumes are not in original form but are found on one roll of microfilm, less than half full. Though the clips cover various aspects of Mayor Gleason's term, not all are covered with the same emphasis, and there is, for example, relative little dealing with education. It is evident that a few pages were missing from the original volumes. The three scrapbooks contain clippings dated from about 1889 to 1898.Date1889-1898Contents1 box, 1 reel of microfilm, .2 cubic feet
