Guide to the New York City Golden Jubilee Celebration School Children's Scrapbooks

Detail

DescriptionThe scrapbooks vary in size and makeup. Two of them do not have the conventional cardboard covers but rather they have wood covers. It is not known for certain if prizes were awarded on separate basis of public and parochial schools. They were definitely awarded separately on the basis of age group, that is, elementary, junior high or high.Extent3 boxes, 2.6 cubic feetRepositoryArchives and Queens Public LibraryCreatorQueens Golden Anniversary CommitteeTemporal Coverage1948Geographic CoverageQueens (New York, N.Y.)
