Description: This Catskill trolley was former New York City horsecar #3. The street-railroad was started in 1890 and abandoned in 1910. Five miles in length, it ran five miles, from Catskill to Leeds, New York. Employing 6 trainmen, there were between four and ten cars in use, (all former New York City horsecars), running a schedule from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., on the hour or half-hour, depending on the season.; handwritten on reverse of print: Started 1890, abandoned 1910; 5 miles in length; cars were former N.Y. City horse cars #1,2,3,4; summer cars #20,21,22,23,24,25 - ran from Catskill to Leeds - branch to West Shore R.R. - had 6 trainmen - summer schedule 1/2 hr., winter, 1 hr., 6 a.m. to last car 11 p.m.
