Description: Men are seen on both sides of the Long Island Rail Road's Long Beach branch crossing near the Wreck Lead station in Island Park. The gate arm is down, and a warning sign at right advises that trespassing is positively forbidden, and that a live third rail poses danger. "Lead" is an old nautical term for a navigable passage; Wreck Lead (perhaps named after an earlier shipwreck) was a portion of what is now Reynolds Channel.
