Description: A woman walks along the sidewalk reading a newspaper in this southeasterly view of the Long Island Rail Road crossing on Cornaga Avenue, taken from the intersection of Gipson Street. The commercial building on the left houses retail stores, and billboards on its side advertise the National Bank of Far Rockaway and Sheffield Farms grocers. This is the same crossing that is identified as McBride Street in record eer-000052. The elevation of the railroad line later demapped McBride Street south of Beach Channel Drive.
