Description: This is a very small collection, though the documents in it range from about 1774 to 1848. It contains about 22 documents, about half of which are oversized. These documents consist, for the most part, of real estate deeds or related land documents Including one or two maps showing property boundary lines concerning land in Newtown. Some other names found on these documents include Burtus, Richards, Polhemus, Post and Gosline. Some documents are the result of one of the Rapeljes being appointed executor of wills. One or two letters are also included In this collection. The will of Daniel Rapelje is also found. This item is dated Mar 29, 1794.
