Description: Most of these images were photographed by Irving Kappel, patriarch of the Kappel Family. His son Stephen photographed a large amount of images dating from 1960-1980. These digitized photographs were donated to the Queens Memory Project by Alison Kappel, Joanne Kappel, and Stacey Pilson, after the death of their father Stephen, at various Queens Memory Project community events in Sunnyside throughout 2014 and 2015.
