Description: Page from childhood scrapbook of Marilyn Reichstein, nee Albin. Reichstein grew up in Flushing and went on to become a professional graphic designer. This page includes a letter from the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York notifying her that she had been selected to participate in the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit of 1955. Reichstein's hand written caption indicates that although she won two honorable mentions at the show, she considered this a disappointment (she had won first prize multiple times in the past).
