Description: Sal Porio recalls stories of friends and boyhood mischief when growing up in Astoria. He tells anecdotes about his landlord, Willie "The Ice", who he believed to be a bookie with high-roller clients, his family dog that they had to give up, a teacher who taught him and his friends for six years, and how he met his friend Jimmy at P.S. 7.
