Description: Judy Lee recalls some of the foods her family purchased during her childhood in Bayside and Laurelton. There were small stores, including a Kosher butcher, within walking distance. Delivery trucks brought warm baked goods and fresh milk to their home. There was also a man who traveled door-to-door on a bicycle he rigged to sharpen kitchen knives.
