Description: Claremont Terrace - The second and third mansions of Clermont Terrace at the northern end, east of Broadway and south of the railroad. The mansions were built in 1850 by Samuel Lord of the Firm Lord & Taylor. In 1873 the north residence was that of Smith, the second was Dr. J.C. Wright and Dr. G.P. Wright.
