Description: The Seaside Iron Pier in Rockaway Beach was located at Beach 105th Street. The Iron Pier was 1.080 feet long when built in 1880; it contained a restaurant, ballroom, barbershop, and steamer landing. After the big winter storms of 1914 and 1920, new smaller pavilions were built, by 1926 what remained was torn out for construction of the new boardwalk.; Address, postmark, stamp and inscription on verso.
