Description: Colorized photo postcard showing an elaborate gateway to Steeplechase Park. On the left column it there is a small entrance which says: L.A. Thompson Scenic Railway. The center gateway says: Ocean Parkway. On the right column it says: George C. Tilyou Steeplechase Park. [George C. Tilyou also had a Steeplechase Park at Coney Island- the one is Rockaway was next to L.A. Thompson's Park, both parks were later combined into Rockaways' Playland.]; Address, postmark, one cent stamp and inscription on verso.
