Description: Remsen House - Close-up of the front facade of the Abraham Remsen House, on the east side of Old Trotting Course Lane (Woodhaven Blvd.), about a block north of Metropolitan Ave. and opposite Cooper Ave. The Remsen's settled here circa 1700 (Abraham d. 1752), Jeromus Remsen Sr. (d.1781) occupied the house during the Revolution. The old Family Burial Grounds were just to the south (right). It was later also the Weeden House, and Kenzie (Kinsey) House. The house was torn down in August 1925.
