Description: Old Debevoise House - (aka Charles Stehling House ) NE corner Metropolitan Ave. and 71st Ave., on its second site, moved here around 1890 from NE corner Metropolitan Ave. and 72nd Ave. The house belonged to A. Hegeman 1852, Mrs. Hendrickson 1860 - 1873, Jacob S. Debevoise 1891, J. Debevoise 1896; John Boss occupied 1922. It was torn down in 1924.
