Description: Coe's House (aka Coe's Mill, aka Titus House) - West side of Colonial Ave. between Waldron St. and Van Doren St. (Long Island Expressway interchange today). Built around 1655, on Horse Brook (aka Mill Creek), the house was torn down by September 1930. After the Coe Family (100+ Years), and then David Titus, it was owned by Daniel Rapelye (1812, 1852), then Carll (1855, 1859), then Cipperley (1870, 1910); and then Thomas Smith (1910 -1922). A Mrs. Kenney occupied it in 1922.
