Guide to the Flushing Residents Autograph Collection 1834-1869 Control # F-5

Identifier: aql:151

Description: This very small collection was assembled by an unknown individual at an unknown time. It consists of about 50 to 60 signatures, probably of Flushing since several signatures bear the name of that town or village. One signature bears the name “Newtown”. These signatures were gotten by clipping them out of letters or documents of various kinds. Most of these signatures have dates accompanying them, presumably cut out from the same documents on which the signatures were found. They are dated principally in the 1830s and 1840s, though some are in the 1860s.
