Description: Augustus Bretoniere House - [other spellings: Bretonnier, Brettoniere] aka Dr. J. Glover House. Rear of the Bretonnier House, old no. 74, new No. 89-16 Queens Blvd., on the SW corner of 57th Ave. In 1776 it was the Samuel Renne House, also called "the Big House". It was two story's with an attic and double hip roof, converted to a mansard roof in 1865. Richard Lawrence owned this house in 1784, then Augustus Bretonnier prior to 1850 until his death 1852, and was later owned by Dr. J. Glover.
