Description: Remsen House - Abraham Remsen House, built circa 1700, on the east side of Old Trotting Course Lane (Woodhaven Blvd.), about a block north of Metropolitan Ave. and opposite Cooper Ave. This view looks north from just north of Metropolitan Ave. It the Weeden Homestead in 1835, James Weeden 1852 and 1860; then Henry Kinsey 1873 and 1891, David Kinsey 1896. The home was bought by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1923, and was torn down in 1925 to build row houses. Photo taken May 1923.
