Description: John Everett Van Nostrand House - View NE along Moffat St. from a point just north of Knickerbocker Ave. covered in snow. In center far background is the large John E. Van Nostrand house at the corner of Cooper Ave. and Wyckoff Ave.; it was demolished in 1927 for the construction of the BMT Canarsie Line. This area was Ridgewood, Queens until the county line adjustment in the early 1920's assigned it to Brooklyn, Kings Co.
