Description: Fresh Pond Crematory - Located at the NW corner of Mt. Olivet Crescent & 62nd Ave. (formerly Evelin Ave.), across from All Faiths Cemetery. Built in 1884 and in operation by 1885, a new building was erected in 1982. 13 lots were purchased here 1884; cornerstone for frame building was laid November 19, 1884, and building was first used Dec. 4, 1885. A new building was erected 1892. Photo taken January 1924.
