Description: Old Debevoise House - (aka Charles Stehling House) this is the second site of the house, NE corner of Metropolitan Ave. and 71st Ave., and was moved here around 1890 from the NE corner of Metropolitan Ave. and 72nd Ave. It was torn down in 1924, The house belonged to A. Hegeman 1852, Mrs. Hendrickson 1860 - 1873, Jacob S. Debevoise 1891, J. Debevoise 1896; John Boss occupied 1922.
