Description: Mrs. Raymond's House (1873) - Later Jeremiah Casey's House (1891). Old address 49 Queens Blvd., north side, 40 Feet east of 55th Road (formerly Homans St.). Jeremiah Casey was born in 1847 in Ireland and came to Newtown in 1850, for years he was the village blacksmith at the corner of Grand St. (Broadway) and the current 45th Ave. Casey retired in 1912 and died Sept. 6, 1917.
