Description: Claremont Terrace - The southernmost house of Clermont Terrace on the east side of Broadway - north side of current St. James Ave. The wooden fence visible on right side near the utility pole marks the northern line of the proposed St. James Ave., not yet opened. All the houses on old Claremont Terrace were built in 1850 by Samuel Lord (of Lord & Taylor).
