Description: The documents in this small collection are all elementary school good conduct certificates or "premiums" issued to Benjamin F. Everitt, Mary Ellen Everitt and Hannah M. Everitt, presumably brother and sisters. They were issued by the Jamaica Public School and were signed by the teacher and the two school committee members. Apparently, they were issued on a monthly basis. Those for Benjamin F. Everitt are seven in number and dated various months in 1856, 1857, and 1858. Those for Hannah Everitt are eighteen in number and dated various months in 1857, 1858, and 1860. Those for Mary Ellen Everitt are twenty-seven in number and dated various months in 1855, 1856, 1857, 1858, 1859 and 1860. All documents measure approximately 8 ¼ x 5 ¼ and are actually printed forms with space allotted for names, dates, etc.
