Description: Remsen House - The east side of Trotting Course Lane (Woodhaven Blvd.), about a block north of Metropolitan Ave. Abraham Remsen settled here at "Hempstead Swamp" circa 1700. In the foreground, just north of the fence, is the Remsen Family Burial Ground containing several graves.
